Taman Sahabat, Kuching

THE MALAYSIA-CHINA FRIENDSHIP GARDEN, KUCHING, SARAWAK

Built to commemorate the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries in 2004, it is designed in the styles of Malaysia and China. It has a large man-made pond and landscaped gardens with good architectural features, which includes the landmarks of Malaysia’s 14 states, a giant stature of Admiral Zheng Ho towering over the park, two wishing wells, a zigzag bridge across the pond and a Friendship Globe .
